Apple Hill Farm - New Paltz

9/10 Lovely people! Dog friendly and beautiful landscape to walk and enjoy being outdoors.

Its excellent, its now my 2nd yr that I came back, to bring my family there. It's a great farm for kids, esp little kids, because the number of trees is not huge. Yet, they have all the primary apple types, and a big grassy area to run around. The also have a small store, w doughnuts, pumpkins, baked goods, snacks, pancake, biscuit mixes. A few gifty type things. They have a tractor w trailer who circulates through every 20 mins or so, so you dont have to walk. While those who like hiking will appreciate the walk. We usually bring a lunch some friends, and spend a few hours there. But its good for a quick stop in too. Enjoy!

It’s such a great place to visit and the family that owns it and the staff are always so kind. I’ve gone almost every year for 24 years.

We had a fantastic time at the apple farm, picking apples and enjoying delicious donuts. The hayride to the orchard was simple and straightforward—no extra charges for parking or activities. It's such a beautiful place, and we've been visiting for 30 years.

We've been visiting Apply Hill Farms every year for the past 15 years, always on the same weekend. It’s a lovely place, and we don’t mind the drive of over an hour to get there. However, this past weekend felt a bit disappointing. The apples seemed different this year—they were smaller, and when we found one that looked promising, it often had a pea-sized rotten spot on the other side. There also appeared to only be Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, and maybe some Macintosh apples available. The assorted bins for picking weren't set up, and there were no signs to identify the rows. Perhaps the lack of rain was a contributing factor, and a small notice on their website would have been helpful. Overall, we still had a wonderful time, and the apple cider donuts were as amazing as always!
