The Grille At Novella's - New Paltz

Located right next to the Hampton Inn, this restaurant comes highly recommended by the hotel and it did not disappoint. The food and service were excellent. Our server, Victoria, was attentive without being overbearing and provided great recommendations. My partner ordered the ribeye steak and I had the New York strip steak, both of which were beautifully presented, generous in portion size, and delicious. The truffle fries were a must-try. The cocktails were good, as well as the wine and bread.

Fantastic dining experience with a very welcoming staff who are always in a great mood. Prices are reasonable and the food quality is top-notch. Highly recommend.

Although we only had appetizers and drinks, The Grille surpassed our expectations. Located among modest hotels, the ambiance was delightful. Christine was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food (mussels, calamari, and flatbread) was excellent.

The waiter and chef took great care to cook my filet in the Surf 'n Turf exactly as I wanted, although the lobster tail was a bit chewy. The Lobster bisque was particularly tasty. The service was outstanding and prompt. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I'm wondering why I waited so long! My husband and I chose this spot for our anniversary and we were excited to find out it was lobster night. He ordered the surf and turf, and the steak was cooked perfectly to his liking. I tried the lobster bisque, which was a unique version (not creamy) but it ended up surprising me in a good way. The twin lobster and orzo with crab stuffing on top was absolutely delicious. Our server was fantastic - friendly, patient, and accommodating. Overall, it was a great dining experience!
