Shining Peak Brewing - New Plymouth

I went for a casual dinner with my son, and the food was fantastic! We ordered three small plates along with some truffle oil fries, which were the best fries I've ever tasted. The flavors in the dishes were amazing. They also had great beer; I really enjoyed the Pomegranate and Lime sour, so I had another one. I would definitely recommend paying a visit!

I received a warm and friendly welcome that made me feel like a local from the start. The service was fast and attentive, and I appreciated the good selection of craft beers. I enjoyed my Charcuterie Board, although the beer-flavored ice cream was somewhat disappointing. The kids’ burger at the table next to me looked delicious. The only downside was that the men's restroom smelled of urine. Overall, it was a nice, trendy venue with a great vibe, and I would definitely return.

We popped in on a very busy Friday night expecting long wait times, however were pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and friendliness of staff. The place is well known for their beers but as a non-drinker I opted for their mango cocktail- which was light and quite lovely with our meal. From the small plates, we got their truffle fries and honey chicken, and one main: the fish of the day to share. Overall I really enjoyed our food, especially the fish dish

This brewery and restaurant is very popular, and for good reason. The food is fantastic, there’s an outstanding selection of beers, and the atmosphere is great. There's something for everyone, and it's family-friendly too. Just be sure to make a reservation if you want a table, as it's often busy.
