The lower rating for atmosphere is understandable; it’s a small business with only three tables, but it's charming and clean, reminiscent of a cozy deli. The staff is dedicated to taking the time to answer any questions you might have, providing ideal service. Even though it was busy, when I made a special request for something not on the menu, my server went to the kitchen to fulfill it. FANTASTIC! Yes! It’s a little yellow building set back from the street, so it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. If you discover it the first time, don’t go anywhere else; your taste buds will never forgive you!
Oklahoma group here! We were in town visiting family, and this was definitely our favorite dinner of the trip! Hands down, the best Cuban sandwich we've ever had. The empanadas were incredible, and those fried rice balls—I'm not sure what they're called, but they're stuffed with meat, peas, carrots, and cheese, and then deep-fried—were a highlight! The marinara sauce they came with was delicious too. Plus, the coffee was better than anything we tried at local coffee shops. Ant was extremely friendly and provided outstanding customer service, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. If you're on the fence about this place, just give it a try. You won't regret it!
I stopped by today for the first time to grab some empanadas, flan, and quesitos, and it was amazing! Everything was delicious. Michael, the staff member, was super friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to return and sample more of their menu. Highly recommended!
This is my first restaurant in this area and they didn't disappoint me. Great service, great people and great selection of dishes. They want the portions of their food. I went for lunch and didn't have to cook or buy dinner. If you happen to be there on a Friday, ask for Empanadas Friday
First time trying Ant's Kitchen Cafe and won't be the last. The owner, Antonio, greeted me as I entered. He was happy to explain the menu and help me decide on my meal. I got the Pollo Ropa Vieja with congri, black beans and plantains. Authentic is the best word I can use to describe this meal. Sorry the picture is only a portion as I started eating beforehand.
