Sonny's Bbq - New Port Richey

The ribs in the Sonny's Sampler were full of meat, juicy, and tender. The pulled pork, beef brisket, and chicken were all delicious, but the portions seemed smaller compared to my previous visit. The side dishes also appeared to be smaller in size.

We order from Sonnys about once a week. This particular Brisket Sandwich was 90% fat and even after pulling off all the fat was hard to eat. Green beans seemed tasteless and unsalted. We usually have a better experience with Sonnys.

The food was delicious overall, but the sweet potato was a bit on the tough side.

Everything on the Sonnys Sampler was delicious. The ribs were meaty, juicy, and tender. There was a generous amount of pulled pork and chopped brisket. The chicken leg was very good size.

I give the BBQ beans 5 stars, the ribs 5 stars, the broccoli 5 stars, the chicken 4 stars, and the drummers 4 stars. The drummies and chicken have always been excellent. The BBQ beans are always excellent. The ribs are always excellent. I usually have high expectations for Sonny's because they usually have excellent food, but not this time. Despite this, I will still order from Sonny's.
