Everything else has NO flavor at all? Not to mention the burrito was missing sour cream making the burrito a dry, rice filed salty tortilla and not a burrito. When Guac N' Roll first opened I was hopeful that we had a place to go for burritos seeing as there's no Chipotle in NR but these burritos are so bad that I'll never go back. These guys have really fallen off lately. Sad.
Super clean place inside and out. Behind the counter is exceptional and the dining area is also well kept. The owner is a super cool dude with fantastic customer service and attitude. The food is great tasting and reasonably/competitively priced. If you’ve never been here it’s similar to how Chipotle is set up (except better tasting! where you pick what food you want for a burrito, bowl, taco, etc. I usually do a bowl with Spanish rice, chicken, carnitas, shredded cheese, and queso because I’m a bit of a picky eater. I will say the chicken could use just a little more flavor, but it still tastes good when paired with Spanish rice. I’ve returned at least once a week on average since I first tried this place a couple weeks ago. Had a chance to chat with the owner briefly and learned he is very personable and seems to enjoy getting to know his customers when he can. If this is is the type of food you like I couldn’t possibly recommend them enough! They do a great job of keeping everything clean and presentable for customer satisfaction and safety and I will continue to return anytime I’m looking for a meal like this without having to travel further away. Thanks for great service and great food! I love getting to know local businesses and their owners, it adds incentive to patronize places like this that are smaller and locally owned and operated who have worked hard to earn and deserve good business from good customers. I also like the bowls they use as they aren’t plastic, they look like they may be a recycled and more eco-friendly material which is beneficial to our environment if that’s the case given how industrialized and “throw away” everything else is like plastic bowls that can’t always be easily recycled.
Love this place some of the freshest best and tasty Mexican food in the area absolutely love it great alternative in yhis town will always keep yhus in my weekly out to eat cheat schedule Chipotle ain't got nothing on Guac N' Roll!Vegetarian options: Plenty for the vegansKid-friendliness: Great simple options for kids
It's ok. I find it perplexing that they sell nachos with store bought chips. But they sell homemade chips just not in their nachos...
The carnitas rice bowl is delicious! I only wish the onions and peppers weren’t cut so large since I typically don’t have a knife with me to cut them, they are extra large slices. I would also like an option for black beans as an option. Our bowls were also not warm which is fine since we could warm them up at home. I went to the drive through which I had no idea was no longer an option and when I went in the gentleman working spoke little English and I do not speak Spanish so that was a bit of a barrier when I had questions about options. Overall, the food is good if you find an option that suits you. I would love a half order option as the bowls are huge and I could literally have it for three meals. The atmosphere is clean and everyone is very friendly. I agree with the other review, I wouldn’t recommend the chicken, it’s salty and looks like pressed cubed chicken but the carnitas is delicious.
