Got there around 7:30pm, ordered our food right away. Took over an hour to get our appetizer/salad and bread, then another hour for our main dishes. Once we finally got our food it was okay, my penne alla vodka tasted like they got a jar of sauce from the store and just poured it in, my boyfriends sandwich bread was hard and the ham tasted unpleasant. After 3 hours at this restaurant I realized why nobody was there. Will not be returning here.
Great food. Fresh baked rolls per order, knots were super, salad is amazing and the hoagie is huge and delicious.
Unbelievably wonderful experience and outstanding food.
We stopped by on a whim on a Saturday evening to compare them to our current favorite pizza shop in the area. We've driven by several times and seen it lively and the bar area full. It was absolutely dead in there. Lights were totally off in the front and back bar and eating area. We thought they were closed until we saw light and movement in the take out area. It was freezing inside, the drink coolers were empty and dirty and the decor was outdated and dusty. The menu was pretty standard pizza shop fare. However everything we ordered was excellent. We got a Sicilian pizza, a calzone, and a sandwich. The portions were large, toppings were fresh, and the cheese was stretchy and delicious like you see on a cartoon. The man (probably Romano since he's featured in all the photographs on the wall) and the woman were both very friendly and welcoming. I don't think I'd want to dine in there, but we'll definitely be repeat take out customers.
Very good food and relaxed atmosphere. If you're in a hurry to eat, go elsewhere.Everything is made fresh as u wait with only the owner cooking. You can't ask for a better meal!!! I think better the Dimaggios and LA Costa Dosa personally.... Parking: Park along the side of the building and full parking lot across the street Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance to get in.
