Wow, it was fantastic! I'm usually very picky about ceviche, but this one was excellent. They did forget my Inca Cola, though.

The tres leches cake was dry and had a stale flavor.

Ceviche is truly excellent, and I say this as a very particular Peruvian.

The food here is authentic and delicious—plain and simple. This place has a charming, homey vibe; it's not fine dining, but rather a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. I can understand the frustrations some people have with ordering, but I think that speaks to a sense of entitlement, as mentioned earlier. I had the Camaroneros Al Ajillo, and it was fantastic. The sauce was well-made and nicely seasoned, with just a light hint of spice—nothing to be concerned about. I really enjoyed the slices of garlic in the dish. It's good for the soul and the immune system! If you aren't a fan of the dish, though, I wouldn’t recommend ordering it. It came with yuca, which complemented the meal perfectly, and the rice paired well too. The shrimp were cooked just right—not overcooked or undercooked—and overall, it was a comforting meal. I didn't feel heavy or greasy afterward, which is always a plus. While many compare restaurants—something we all do—this place truly stands out as being good. I highly recommend it. Remember, it’s a mom-and-pop operation, so don't expect fine dining or flawless customer service. However, the service here is friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The staff was pleasant and attentive—I couldn’t have asked for more. Positive energy goes a long way!

There are certainly plenty of Peruvian options on the menu. The service was outstanding. The fried fish and its batter were excellent, and the fish itself was incredibly fresh. The ceviche was quite good—spicy and made with fresh fish. The rellenos de papa, which are stuffed potato balls with meat, also included pieces of hard-boiled egg and were very tasty. As for the duck dish, the meat had a slightly gamey flavor and was a bit dry. If you're looking for really great duck, I would recommend going to a Chinese restaurant, as they excel at preparing roast duck.
