Traditional Mexican music was playing, and there is traditional artsy booths, and decor. The food was exquisite. Definitely authentic, flavorful, and very filling. I ordered the tamarindo Margarita and let?s just say that it was gone very quickly! If you are in the area and in the mood for homey, authentic Mexican food, this is the place. I was very impressed.
Great, authentic Mexican food! I had the Plato Mexicano. Every bite was delicious. The service was great, even though it's Cinco de Mayo and the place is packed. Several reviewers complained about price, but I didn't think it was overpriced. Food is expensive right now due to inflation, and workers need to be paid fair wages. I'm happy to pay for delicious food. Reply to the owner: I am new to the area, and I am very happy to have found such an excellent Mexican restaurant. My best friend when I was a kid in California is Mexican, and your food tasted just like the meals that his mother made for us. You serve REAL Mexican food, not TexMex nor Americanized versions of Mexican food.
Great service and good food but way over priced! Restaurant is very dirty and the bathrooms smell. You would think these reviews would help management correct these problems, but it doesn't seem to help.
Friendly service, delicious drinks and large portions of good food! Definitely needed a box lol. And very tasty salsa, chunky juicy and just enough spice!
The restaurant has a decent appearance but definitely needs some renovations, especially the bathrooms, which were quite unpleasant. On a positive note, they have a full bar and the service was excellent! We ordered a large guacamole, but it turned out to be a tiny plate with just three small scoops—nothing like what we expected for ‘large’. My wife ordered a combo dish, and to our horror, it arrived with a live cockroach crawling on her rice! She screamed in shock, and the waitress rushed over, constantly apologizing. I ordered the parrillada, which looked appealing, and the menu was enticing, which is what drew us in initially. However, finding a cockroach in our food is simply unacceptable. I usually give restaurants a second chance, but after this experience, I won't be returning. A cockroach is an automatic dealbreaker!
