The Baker's Table - New Smyrna Beach

Incredibly disappointed!!! Went here for lunch today. Was very disappointed. The food took forever to come out, and when it did, bread was stale, was told it was an oyster poboy- prior to ordering, but it was far from a poboy! It was served on a stale hamburger type roll, with very few oysters. French fries were odd and greasy, but the service was horrible! Our server never once refilled our drinks. I had to flag down another server. Our server was more interested in servicing the large party, to collect his tips. We wont be returning. This use to be one of my favorite spots, but for what they charge, vs what the quality of food has been in recent months, its not worth it! FYI look up poboy, so you can actually see how it should be prepared! Use fresh hoagie rolls, and make it memorable! Anyone can serve mediocre food! I think you need to serve outstanding food, and people wont mind paying for it!

What a great weekend, thanks to the amazing food we had at Bakers Table. As you can see we had various plates all of which were amazing. Bakers Table might have worked it way up to our top three of restaurants. They have a great menu and they married it with great service. Not necessarily what you expect Beach side but it was amazing.

Eggs Benedict was done to perfection and delightfulI! I liked the thin potatoes wedges were good however a little cold. Coffee best in town! Service very friendly and making sure they check on you while eating outside. Ordered a to go order of prime rib sandwich. Can?t wait to taste it!

Superb Exceptional. Rarely do I use those words to describe a restaurant culinary experience, but today The Baker 's Table delivered both in abundance! I started with a chilled bubbly prosecco. The watermelon gazpacho was flavorful with just the perfect hint of spice. The main entree Chicken Francese was pounded thin mouth wateringly tender with just the right amount of capers in a delightfully bright lemon sauce accompanied by thin capellini pasta. I finished off my meal with a Vanilla Bean Brulee and left nary a drop in the bowl. Superb Exceptional says it all!

GOODNESS simple the best. Jeanette and Jamie have amazing recipes made with fresh ingredients. The staff couldn't be more accommodating. When we go with a party of more than 4 we do go a bit early and it is SOOOO worth it. Last night our party of nine was treated incredibly. We each had a difference entree and everyone was very pleased. The birthday day cake was perfect, yummy, and so pretty. Thank you Jeanette and Jamie for providing us with such a lovely experience.
