Wake Up Cafe - New Smyrna Beach

I have to give a shout out to my server Mikki that even though she rode the hayride and not walk last night trickery treating she made up for it giving me the fastest, friendly, delicious, and gluten free breakfast I have had in a long time. The restaurant owner is from Argentina and has one more restaurant in the New Smyrna Beach area. Who knew this place was here? Not me till now! Been coming to New Smyrna beach for several years now and hooked right here. Traveling with a wheat allergy is always fun and challenging but not here. Get there early cause most likely you will find a line to get in it's that good on weekends. You can discibe this place as a little hole in the wall place but with southern charm in Florida for breakfast. You know what they say about a little hole in the walls places they are the best hands down. I will have to come back for lunch soon. I highly recommend this place and tell Mikki I sent you so she can get the exercise she missed last night. Thank you Mikki for the great breakfast and service. I will see you tomorrow morning and have my order ready at 8:45am. To the owner I applaud you. This is a great restaurant deserve the recognition for your success. Also hiring great staff to run it. Stop what you are doing right now and enjoy a beautiful and delicious breakfast or lunch at Wake Up Cafe! Dishes are simply amazing and made with tasty ingredients (many with an Argentinian and Spaniard flair). You can certainly tell (and taste) that every single dish is made with great love for food and customer satisfaction. Aside from the wonderful a meal our server Dolly was not only attentive, but engaging, kind, and efficient. She made the experience even better. This will be a must every time we visit New Smyrna.

Our family was so happy that we found this gem for breakfast. Our waitress, Dolly, was wonderful and the food was amazing. They have taken breakfast to a whole new level. Thank-you for the wonderful dining experience.

This is my favorite breakfast and brunch food. They always make an amazing food here. Price is reasonable. I like their waffles, it’s crispy outside and soft inside. Food has a good flavor. and they always tell you the special food they have. Service is great. Love it!

I visited the restaurant around 1 PM for a late breakfast and found ample free parking available. We were greeted and seated right away, with no wait at all. The staff was very friendly. I ordered the Wake Up sandwich, which included egg, cheese, and sausage, served with grits. My wife chose the Roger, an egg, cheese, and Taylor ham sandwich on a bagel accompanied by home fries. Both dishes were prepared to our liking and arrived quickly. This place is definitely a must-try!
