Quan Zhen Su Shi - New Taipei City

There are several teppanyaki options at this restaurant, but only one is vegan and does not contain mock meat. Priced at NT120, it may not look special but it is absolutely delicious. Even my picky brother enjoyed it and couldn't resist stealing some from my plate.

We had heard about this restaurant, but we were not expecting it to be so cozy in Ximending. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. We tried the hot plate noodles and some finger foods, and they were all very delicious.

I have tried two soups at this restaurant so far, and both were absolutely delicious. If you are vegan, I recommend avoiding the fake meat as it is likely not vegan. I also tried some raw fish, which I think should be vegan, but I didn't enjoy it too much. Still, it was nice to try something new. I am looking forward to trying the Teppanyaki dishes next time, and I absolutely love their complimentary cycling side dish!
