The 1894 Lodge Neighborhood And Grill

Every time we have been here, the food is over the top excellent! The service is also personal and makes you feel like a neighbor and treasured guest. We have referred many here, even from out of the country! As I'm writing this, I'm realizing we need to go back...so maybe that's tonight! This is a true gem that everyone needs to visit. The chef is well trained, the servers are great, the atmosphere is unique and special, the cocktails are superb. They are doing it right!!

Amazing food and staff! Worth the pretty drive, especially for a special date night. We went for our anniversary and they went above and beyond. My husband talked for a week straight about his Cajun pasta! Goat cheese fritters, cocktail, hot brown, Cajun pasta, and cheesecake were all too-notch! We can’t wait to go back ?

We drove an hour and a half to try this place and couldn't have been happier! These pictures are from the 2 times we've been. We plan on going back as soon as we can. Haven't had a single bad thing. It's all delicious!

Love The 1894 Lodge! We have never had anything we didn't like from here! Service is always good and we enjoy trying new things from the weekly specials. I do wish you would bring back the 5 cheese mac-n-cheese though, it was the best!

If you have not been? Best there is!!Wish I could reply to some of the 3 star reviews on here.First of all. A good steak only needs a dash of salt and pepper! The flavor of the meat should be the main flavor. Not some Chain steak places that overly cover their meat with spices! Also, people complain about the price. It's a locally farm sourced product. It should be reflected in the price.About staff. Look people!! Have any of you been anywhere since Covid. Every restaurant is dieing for wait staff. They are all over worked and understaffed. If you worked in these kind of conditions everyday. Eventually you will have a bad day and not be 100% the happiest person. Be nice to them! If your meal is not correct or cold. Politely ask if they can fix it.One person on here complained about the upscale casual recommended dress. Because the felt like they were over dressed. Are we back in high school!?!All I know is the owner, cooks and wait staff there want you to be completely satisfied with your experience at the lodge.All of this is why I've been telling people that I meet. If you don't mind the drive. Want a awesome meal. Go to the lodge!
