8th Hill Inspired Mediterranean Cuisine

Looking for a light lunch to share on a sunny Sunday and I remembered I wanted to try this place. I'm so glad we did. First the service at the bar with our friendly bartender was outstanding. She said yes to everything we asked for... light ice in our drinks. No problem. Medium well on the steak. In other words, they are VERY accommodating and didn't make us feel weird about it. We sat at the bar and shared that steak sandwich along with a couple of fruity Rose Sangria's. It was a really nice day and meal. Felt like family. Stop in but late in the week for dinner. Wonderful and will be back.

The food was not good. The rolls were almost frozen on the inside, multiple entrees were served without the proper items listed on the menu. Would not go back.

Seating was prompt for Sunday brunch (before the rush). But the following missteps occurred: 1 chargeable water brought even though tap requested; was sent back, but remained on bill at end. 2 companion's **** mary was so salty he could not drink it. 3 companion ordered omelette without the feta cheese it arrived with feta cheese. In each case the problem was made good, but one should not have to keep requesting corrections. Provided rolls very nondescript. On the plus side, my eggs benedict and accompanying screwdriver was good, and the prices are decent, considering a brunch drink is included. Atmosphere is pleasant, had gotten quite loud by the time we left.

On Friday night they have live music which makes conversation nearly impossible. Service was very good,

The wines were all good selections and the food was delicious. Bread was warm and fresh. Nice seats outside other than the sun seats. Need covering for all seats.
