A Salt Battery - New York

The place is very small, five counter seats and no outdoor space. Food was served promptly and ripping hot. I had the large haddock and it was definitely too much (still ate it all but left some of the chips behind).

The best fish and chips I can find in the city filled with flavor and nice and flaky, but doesn't leave you feeling greasy afterwards. Love the atmosphere too, feels like a proper chip shop inside and out.

Cod had tender meaty texture and the batter was salted and crispy just right

Got take out and they really wrapped it up well to make sure i didn’t grease up my clothes, which i appreciated. got two different pieces of fish and some fries and honestly i don’t remember how much i liked it because i went into cardiac arrest soon after finishing my meal
