Amaranth - New York

A pleasant lunch experience but my salad was disappointing, given the price.

Amazing neighborhood gem. We love walking to Central Park then having a lovely dinner, sitting outside. We had their unique baby artichoke salad, caprese salad and warm chicken balsamic reduction salad. Delicious, Leo, our waiter, was outstanding

Great place for lunch with indoors and outdoors sitting. Ask for the shrimps and asparagus truly delicious! The Amaranth cake is irresistible!

Pricey but delicious!! The vibes are amazing too! I had the lobster risotto and ate every. last. bite. !

I was unsure about having dinner at Amaranth based on the reviews but I was completely blown away. The service was excellent and prompt. Great cocktails and a favorite bottle of wine was on the list. Fried calamari and shrimp were excellent but the carpaccio was second to none. The best veal Milanese I've ever had, melted in my mouth. Sea scallops were perfect in a leek and mushroom mustard sauce. I would recommend this to anyone and definitely return.
