Super service and good eating we have made it obligatory to visit angus at least once during our often travel to nyc. never was disappointed! mike
Dreadfully after waiting for 80 minutes we have not been served yet and had to go as we did a show right next to the turquoise around us the same if they are a restaurant in the theatre quarter they should be aware that their customers get to a show
Kellner was funny and good nature, but eating was mediocre, the owner insists on being as rigid as if his menu is perfect, and the ambiente was old bar. high spots are the fries when they want to fry that I don't and get them anyway.) the cattleburger was either tasteless or it was a truthahnburger when I ordered bark meat. all in all, s’ok, but not a repeat.
On this pre theatre dinner return visit, we elected to sit upstairs...good move. Much more quiet, better service and an intimate setting, The onion soup was excellent as was the main course meat dish. A solid wine list and out in time for the show next door...Highly recommended.
