Silvester! eating was great, service was great, the place is beautiful.

Eating was very good. to celebrate with a free champagne glass. the service was very nipple for a crowded festive moment.

I have had better food and paid less. We didn’t receive our champagne toast and was told I had to ask even though it was part of the set menu. The chips were greasy and not great. The steak which was medium or medium rare was charred in places.

We went for an 8pm seating on New Year’s Eve, so probably not a typical experience. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. Festive balloons, lively atmosphere. It was a prix fixe menu, meant for a streamlined kitchen on a busy night, and I’m sure, to regularize turnover a bit. Initially, there was a sense of being rushed, but that eased off later. The rib eye was excellent and generous. The service was friendly and mostly attentive, but just a wee bit off (missing plates and utensils a couple times). Oh, and get the hash browns instead of the mashed potatoes.
