The restaurant is in over many floors in a townhouse and the ambiance is 100% what you'd hope it is: dim lit, calm, cozy with the perfect sound level for a nice dinner and a glass of wine Service is perfect although a bit on the faster end. Definitely coming back very soon!
The best part about Bobo is the setting. Set in a brick-laden West Village townhouse, this French restaurant has floors with different ambiances, from the cozy downstairs bar to the classic main dining room to the winter garden in the back. The food and cocktails are a good compliment to the experience.
I love a good spiced margarita and Bobo’s épice Margarita is exactly that. It’s a crisp and refreshing cocktail garnished with a cucumber. The happy hour menu is not quite varied but it is decently priced. The oysters were lovely. I tried their pomme pavée in lieu of French fries for the same price point of $12 and it did not disappoint. The mousse au chocolat on the other hand was too dense for my liking but it tasted good. I’ll be back for certain.
Lovely experience and top-notch service! Great hostess and the manager checked in on single table. Charming patio area in the back. Highly recommended as a date spot or for an intimate dinner with friends! Loved the branzinoFood: 5/5
We were impressed with the atmosphere and the solicitous service in this lovely little bistro located in a historical town house. We shared several appetizers and they were all tasty, especially the little corn fritters and the crispy artichokes. Our chicken was tender and in a. Tasty light sauce. The seafood linguine was outstanding. The wine list was extensive. They presented our granddaughter with a delicious lemon and meringue tart for her birthday at no extra charge.
