Boucherie West Village - New York

I arranged to celebrate a birthday there. The food was amazing. When I told the waitress it was my friend’s birthday, she went out of her way to arrange a dessert with a candle. Plus the restaurant gave her a book as a birthday gift. The sort of experiences cannot be bought. It is truly amazing food and ambience.

I had a great experience for dinner on Saturday night at this restaurant! The service was excellent and the food was cooked perfectly. The only downside was that it was a bit loud and our table had harsh lighting. Despite that, I would definitely come back again.

Phenomenal experience. Drinks: I had the house manhattan which was made perfectly. My GF had a ketel one cosmo which was made to her liking (not too sweet). Appetizer: Escargot was as to be expected. Perfectly cooked. Great to have with their bread. Entree: my GF and I had the special which was a single bone NY strip/filet. 36oz with the filet on one side and the NY strip on the other. Comes with 3 house dipping sauces and an additional bone marrow add on. For sides we had the creamed potato and mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfectly the sides complimented the steak just the way we like. The special was more than enough for the both of us. I ended up taking some of the steak home and using it to make steak and egg burritos in the morning. Desert: we had a couple of espressos and the cream puff desert special with dark chocolate. We were very happy with the that. Overall our server was very thorough and there wasn’t a moment where I didn’t have a refill on deck. 10/10 highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Boucherie. It was a pleasant, relaxing experience and the food was excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly and my wife loved the endive salad.

Medium rare was overcooked. Pink inside which is not medium rare as described on the menu. Main took 1 hour after placing order.
