Cafe Clover - New York

This restaurant is closed. I walked to go eat here after my reservation had been confirmed and sadly someone told me the business closed :

Food and service with were exceptional, during the pandemic I don’t think I got the full flavor of the atmosphere but we really enjoyed it there.

We reserved a table for Sunday brunch . The food selection isn't enough .. I think it needs 2 more additional items in this menu . But what we did order was fantastic . The home made rolls with butter was absolutely fantastic . The avocado toast with 2 benedict eggs was surprisingly very filling . And the cocktails were just what we needed . Thank you

Overall experience during this reopening outdoor dining only period could be vastly improved if they just had umbrellas covers to have all of their tables under shade. The majority of their tables were un shaded and made it a very unpleasant and hot brunch in this NYC summer heat. We saw many other customers asked to be moved to the shade or just leave completely. Very disappointed at their shortened menu as well.....not anywhere close to what it was pre COVID

Not so great! I would say we go to cafe Clover every two months. This past time wasn’t especially good . Service was mediocre and food was just okay.
