Given the price point, it felt too mediocre to be justifiable—I don’t mind spending money if the food is genuinely good. While the dishes were interesting, they weren’t interesting enough to leave a lasting impression. On the positive side, the restaurant itself is adorable, with fun decor, and the service was excellent. I’m giving it 3 stars based solely on the food, which I believe is the most important aspect of any restaurant experience.
I had the Ropa Vieja Noodles, and they were incredible! The portion size was generous, and it featured one of the best briskets I've ever tasted. I highly recommend it!
The first restaurant we visited in Chelsea was incredible. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service was exceptional. The food definitely deserves a perfect 10/10!
Went here after walking the Highline and ordered the ropa vieja noodles and yucca fries and they were both delicious. Vibes and music were great. Shout out to Louis for amazing service!
Went to Calle Dao (Chelsea location) for a late dinner with friends. It Cuban-Asian fusion food. The drinks were pretty amazing. Mango Mojito was great. Papas Rellenas is a small but heavy appetizer. Garlic Shrimp was tasty and had a nice kick to it. Our servers were friendly and informative and were able to recommend food and drinks to everyone's liking. The vibe is pretty chill. Definitely recommend! Great place for foodies who are into trying new things but aren't too adventurous yet.
