Casa Bocado - New York

I had the queso appetizer, shrimp tacos, and skirt steak, all of which were excellent. However, when the steak arrived, I found myself wondering where the rest of it was! My two margaritas had noticeably different tastes, which could have been due to different bartenders crafting them or just a lack of consistency. Overall, I had a fun time, but I felt it was a bit overpriced for what I received.

The service was outstanding, and the staff made me feel truly special on my birthday. They took wonderful care of both my guests and me. There are also excellent vegetarian options available for everyone to enjoy. We never felt rushed and were able to savor the evening fully. Additionally, they surprised me with a sparkler, which was such a thoughtful gesture, and they also helped us take great group photos! The atmosphere was fantastic, especially in the evening. There's a lively bar downstairs with a DJ, while the upstairs dining area offers a slightly quieter yet still vibrant ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant not just for birthday celebrations, but also for a lovely dinner with friends or a significant other. It would likely be great for corporate events as well. The bar has a fantastic atmosphere, but I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that.

Went here on a friday night with some friends. the passion fruit margaritas were incredible. our server Chelso was incredibly attentive and helpful. can’t wait to go back to check out their lounge!
