A fine dining experience. Great food. Wish I left room for the dessert. The service was awesome.Food: 5/5
When they say they are the best brick oven pizza in NY I’d have to agree. The pizza was so good. Lightly sauce and the taste of the cheese and toppings come through and not drowned in sauce. Their fried calamari was light and crispy, well seasoned and the marinara they serve it with is so good. The Tiramisu was a bit hard not what I’m used to I think if the lady fingers were soaked in espresso for a bit long to bring that taste out it would be very good. Over all everything was wonderful, good atmosphere with a live music singer and apparently this place used to have live improv with some really famous actors doing improv from 1963-1993. Wonderful place for good pizza and Italian food
Food was very good. Prices reasonable and on average. Sat outside which was a bit tight. We were shooed away from a 4 top being only 2 people.. But then another couple was given same table.. The issue with this restaurant is the service.. This will not be a quick meal.. Which is fine but we had to repeat our order 3x. Never got our drinks and had to ask 3x. We were not given salt and pepper and no silverware. Had to ask for them.. No bread with an Italian meal?Food was good once we got it.. Glad we weren't in a hurry..
We had Ross as our server, and he was an utter delight. Took great care of us.The atmosphere was perfect, and the food was wicked. The carbonara (my favorite Italian dish) was so creamy, I've never had anything quite like it, it was like velvet. The spaghetti meatball (with tomato sauce) was ultra fresh, the seasoning was perfect, basically a life-changing experience.
