The best thing about is it is pretty cheap for the Theater district.Ordered one of their famous Donburi, which comes with a miso soup (the best part of the meal) and the chicken katsu. Chicken was ok, while the base for the dish was very plain. Overall it’s an ok place, if you’re in a hurry.
I liked how @donburi.ya has a good variety of izakaya food options one of the things I miss the most about Japan! The taste however is quite average, and I think they don’t match up to the price point.
It is very close to my dance studio. I was thinking that get small meal after dance class. It was on Wednesday dinner. I sits on the bar.. all the servers are very nice.5/5Food are great and authentic Japanese.5/5I order garlic sautéed spinach amazing perfect seasoning.5/5Nanka E KaMO add on to make it set rice, soup and salad 8.5) 5/5 .
This place gets packed so definitely arrive early or expect to wait. The food is delicious and hot which is perfect for a below freezing night. The fried oysters were super crispy. At the end of your meal, they give you a hot tea to enjoy. I hope I get the chance to return and try out more things on their menu.Food: 5/5
