Eros Greek Cuisine - New York

This restaurant is closed. Bought a voucher on Pulsd, made a birthday dinner reservation, showed up only to find out they have been closed for a few weeks. The restaurant next door said they have been getting their mail.

The staff was very pleasant and the service was good and some of the dishes were excellent like the gigantes (bean) which were phenomenal. The red and yellow beet salad was also very good but the imam pizza was a no-go in my book.

I saw a deal on Pulsd for this spot and was not disappointed. I have walked by Eros late a night and was always amazed by the interior design, which transports you to Greece. The cocktails are really great, though quite strong. I really enjoyed the strawberry spritz drink.We ordered the grilled octopus as a starter fantastic and really really good. As our mains, we ordered the seafood skewer (highly recommended) which includes rice pilaf and tzatziki. This was amazing and the variety (swordfish, shrimp, salmon and something else) is great. We also ordered a deboned whole Dorado, which was really tasty as well.Overall, this restaurant was great and we enjoyed our experience.

Warm pita bread was great, the stuffed calamari with Greek cheese was amazing wished I had more. My sea bass was cooked to perfection.Overall good service. I would definitely go back again.

Amazing presentation, flavor, quantity, and quality. I felt that the price was very fair as well. 2nd time here and it was again a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for dates! Wish i had more pictures but i dove into the food too fast ?
