Yeah, the service was slow, but only one waiter was working. Good drinks and better company made the slow service easy to ignore. The food was fresh and delicious, and I wasn't mad when the apology for the delay was my favorite adult beverage. ???? Was reminded it was a favorite of our crew back in the day. May be the reason it felt so homey.
Super fun and bumping brunch joint! The food had a nice French touch to it and the overall ambience and atmosphere is great. Food was surprisingly just mediocre to us. Nothing was super outstanding or memorable? but overall it was a fantastic meal and the drinks are great.
We tried the short rib tacos, gnocchi, and onion soup at this restaurant, and everything was excellent. However, my favorite part of the experience was people watching. The service was quick and friendly, making it a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
If you're looking for top-notch cuisine, Felix may not be your best bet. However, if you're in the mood for a vibrant atmosphere and some excellent people-watching, this is the place to be. The service is quick and attentive, though the food itself is decent at best. I did appreciate the meat board, though. Prices are on par with what you'd expect in Soho (though a bit steep - $18 for a glass of wine), but overall, it's a great spot to experience the essence of pre-COVID New York.
