Son liked the burger. Rest was ok. Where this really fell down was the service. New guy ornot...he HAS to do more than poor water for his guests. My order wasn't put in so I ate while the rest watched. Salad came justbefore main course. Server never checked in on us...not once and when ready to pay...no where to be found. Another server had tocome help. We were there around 6 on Saturday but the place was not busy. There are lots of options for food on this stretch ofthe area. I'd try somewhere else based on this experience...owner/manager came by and had a chance to try to make thingsright.... didn't discount or give us anything as compensation...even after he was told about the experience.....guess he didn'tcare either....won't be back
The Gramercy Park Omelet was an interesting entree. The rich cheese inside contrasted with the crisp, sour Granny Smith apple slices also placed in the interior of the eggs. The biscuits weren 't bad but I wished the were a little more moist. The servicewas efficient and the place had a nice cozy feel to it. I wished I could 've spent more time here if it weren 't for otherengagements. So if asked if the food here is good enough to eat I concur.
Staff was friendly yet not very attentive. I gave this place a try because of it?s high Google reviews however I?m sad to say I was let down. The freshest tasting thing on my plate were the eggs. The fries tasted like they were refired while the sausagetasted old. All in all safe yourself the trip and pick a different place.
I wanted to like this place! With its down-home friendly atmosphere, made from scratch brunch menu items, and real maple syrup, I was sold before the first bite. Unfortunately, there is room for improvement. The bacon is really thick cut, so ordering it crisp produces something with the consistency of shoe leather. Also, while the waffles looked scrumptious, they were a littletoo thick and dense. There 's more to making a really good waffle than just pouring pancake batter into a waffle iron. The foodwas definitely good enough to eat , but with a little work, it could be even better.
Warm and super cozy. Food is delicious and portions are great. Home made desserts are extragood. Excellent staff as amazing as the whole experience. Thank you Nina. 20/10
