Havana Central Times Square - New York

The food service was outstanding. My only issue was that the band was playing extremely loudly, making it difficult for my friend and me to have a conversation without shouting. I personally prefer softer background music. After all, people typically go to restaurants to enjoy both their meal and some social interaction.

Delicious mojitos! The best Cubano I've ever had. The chicken and rice were fantastic as well. Rafaela provided excellent service and some great recommendations. It was a fun place to enjoy the warm Cuban atmosphere, especially since the weather outside was terrible. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. I will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was lively, and the service was top-notch. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The portion sizes were also just right.

We arrived with a reservation, but the hostess asked my wife to pull up the confirmation email on her phone. After a moment, she exclaimed, "Oh, I found it." Meanwhile, the people behind us were yelling about their own reservations and asking how long the wait would be. If you can, avoid midtown during Christmas week—it’s a chaotic scene. When our food finally arrived, it was at room temperature, and we never saw our waiter again or received our side of maduros. The atmosphere downstairs was quite loud, reminiscent of Dallas BBQ, but with cold Cuban food.
