Hudson Hil's Café - New York

Super cute. Blew up a little from TikTok. I would not order the chicken fried steak again, it was pretty tough. Overall sweet vibes! Be prepared to put your name in for a long wait on the weekends.

Nice cafe, can get pretty busy on the weekends, and it’s giving city prices. Both the southwest shrimp/avo salad and the salmon BLT were good.

We got the French toast and biscuits with gravy. For the French toast, the bread was a bit soggy. For the biscuits with gravy, the gravy was delicious. I was told that I cannot substitute my side of potatoes with bacon.

We wanted to just grab some coffee and a pastry. We waited more or less 15 minutes for someone to take the order, another 15 minutes for coffee to be brought to the table and another 30 minutes for 2 pastries to come. Overall, the pastries were ok, but the service was super slow.
