Ilili - New York

We enjoyed some good Mediterranean cuisine in New York City. Our group of four had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, but the staff was attentive and quick. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal, and the pita bread was fantastic. While the main dishes were decent, they didn't quite live up to the quality of the appetizers. For dessert, we ordered Knafe and Turkish coffee, but both left us a bit disappointed. Overall, we had a wonderful time and appreciated the food, though it may not be the top spot for Mediterranean fare in the city.

Regarding the food, I have to admit I’m not very familiar with Mediterranean or Lebanese cuisine, so I went in with no expectations. Our group of ten decided to share dishes family-style, and it turned out to be the best decision ever. We got to sample a little bit of everything, and every dish was delicious! The sauces complemented the entrees and meats beautifully, and we had a great time sharing all the dishes together. I highly recommend trying the mixed meat platter for two, which features a generous selection of high-quality meats! You should definitely give this restaurant a try; it’s a perfect spot for a date or a family outing! Thanks for reading, and enjoy your visit!

The reason I am giving 3 stars its because I did not get to dine in, had to sit at the lounge area and people kept passing and looking at down at our food while we were dining. Its no fault of the restaurant but I want to give a full dining experience as options were limited because of seating. I will definitely be making a reservation to come back as I did enjoy the appetizers that we got.

Absolutely amazing restaurant with succulent meat dishes and flavorful appetizers and sides. The trio of flavored butters add distinct tastes to the meats based on your palette. Service is a bit loose but definitely personal and engaging. GREAT job Philippe!

Wow. This place is amazing. From 15L bottles of wine all the way through dessert. Didn’t find a bad thing on the menu. Possibly the best hummus I’ve ever had don’t forget to get a side of toum (garlic sauce) because their’s is incredible. Highly recommend. We stopped in with no reservation and had a table in about 25 minutes.
