It’s an experience for sure. I didn’t find most dishes to be too appetizing, but overall a unique night.
What a special and delicious place. They change their menu every month so I’ll definitely be going back. Atmosphere and service felt a little cold but possibly because of covid. Sat at the bar and got to chat with the chef through the plastic dividers. Can’t wait to go back once there are less restrictions.
Hiroki doesn’t just make food, he writes stories with his food. The May Omakase was just outstanding. I can list an itemized sequence of the food we ate but that’s almost beyond the point. It was an enchanting narrative from start to finish- embracing locavore sourcing, Shojin Ryori practices and truly inventive global cuisine (Pistachio Miso!? all in a setting that felt like a friends home at the bar seating. Special shout out to the entire staff who help create an incredible atmosphere. Grateful to dine here and I hope you do too.
This was one of the best tasting menus I have ever had. Each dish was creative, thoughtful, and tasted delicious! My favorites were the green onion broth and seasonal vegetables. Service was impeccable, and timing of the dishes was great. Would definitely return here.
