The dumplings here are extremely good for the price. Servings are so cheap and i was able to buy over 30 dumplings for under 10 dollars.I recommend above all else the pan fried dumplings, but the boiled dumplings (get the soup too are also very good. I also loved the sesame pancake, but make sure to get a filling otherwise it’s a huge piece of bread. You literally cannot beat the deals here and if i lived nearby it would be over for my health and wallet. Cash only!!!
If you’re a LES dumpling historian like me then you know your history. The man behind the counter is the same person from Prosperity dumplings that’s now permanently closed. They by far had the best dumplings and the cheapest at 4 for $1. I asked the man if he remember me as I haven’t seen him since 2016 and he said he did, I’m glad to see their business thriving once again as we always told him he needed a bigger store for the demand ! I recommend the sesame pancake or the sesame pancake with duck
Dumplings are very affordable, good quality, very tasty. Shrimp dumplings (10 pieces) are $5 and Frieda pork and chives is $3.5(10 pieces). They also sell frozen. Worth a visit!
This is a very decent place to get fried dumplings and fried buns for a very competitive price! 10 chive and pork dumplings, 4 fried buns with a beverage for under 10 bucks. The dumplings had a nice golden brown crust on the bottom, a bit crunchy and juicy when you eat it while it is still hot. The fried pork buns were so hot they were steaming the plastic container it came in. A bit of soy sauce and hot sauce (if it was available) would have made for a perfect combination. There are many other items available and these two are #1 and #2 respectively on their menu. These are their best sellers so they are must try items if you decide to grab a bite.
