I loved the overall atmosphere and interior decorations of the place. It was all really pretty, and I took lots of pictures for memories.I chose this place specifically for kushiyaki; it's very difficult to find a dedicated spot in Toronto. Overall, the Canadian dollar made every meal in the US crazy expensive, so if I spent a lot on food, then I felt the food should match the price. I ordered the Yakitori Bento that came with chef's choice skewers. I thought the photo was just for reference and could change depending on daily supply, but unfortunately that assumption was wrong and 2 of the skewers were indeed hot dogs. I don't hate hot dogs, but I don't know, I was hoping for a higher quality selection for what I paid.Other items ordered were the Minty Pear Cocktail. That was really great and delicious and came in a large portion, though I don't understand the reason for the sandwich-type bag being used as its vessel.I also ordered takoyaki, and this was average.Overall, I wouldn't return.Vegetarian options: You can order individual skewers, but they also have combos that are veg only.Dietary restrictions: They offer a variety of skewers and you can likely find something that works for you.
Food staff were all good! had the ramen which was delicious! couldve been hotter when it came out and was a little too salty. the egg, noodles, and ramen toppings were amazing though! yakitori was good, but unsure if it was worth the . the bimbimbap and fried rice were so so good ! overall the staff were so nice and quick! our table spilled some food and they were kind in cleaning it quickly and not making a scene. good experience overall!! would recommend
Stopped by for a late lunch with friends on a Monday (July 3rd before the holiday) and had a really great time here! The food, service, and general ambiance were all great. We ordered the 5 skewer combo, the chicken kara-age, bulgogi fries, and the tuna tartare bibimbap. We shared among three people and it was the perfect amount of food.My favorites were the bulgogi fries and the rib-eye skewer! The bimbimbap was good but because the rice was so hot, the tuna was getting cooked in the pot so we had to remove it and keep it on the side to make sure it didn't get overcooked. The chicken kara-age was also good but the bulgogi fries really stole the show on the app side.
Living out of a suit case frequently raises the question: where do I eat today? Tired of all the tried and true, I was hoping for a new experience and stumbled into this hole in the wall. I'm glad I did! I got everything I expected, from friendly and prompt service, to meat and vegetable skewers filled with flavor. Even the pork gyoza was similar in quality to those I had in Japan. Can't wait to return for more. The one thing I'll do differently next time is to order either a 7 or 10 skewer combo for a better value.
Great food,We had the Ramen, actually we had two of them, and they were great ?Very good atmosphere and music.
