The food was mediocre at best. The pate was too salty and tasteless. The duck was excellent, but very overpriced. The menu very limited.
Classic French restaurant, great food and charming service in delightful setting. We had chosen to dine early as two guest were elderly with hearing difficulties. Between 5 and 6 on a Saturday, we were very comfortable; then, business and noise picked up and by 7 we were certainly ready to leave. Unexpected pleasure of a rendering of happy birthday by one of the staff: thank you!
Have lived on the UWS for 15 years and was always curious about Mirabelle but had never gone. Very glad we did! An absolutely first rate French bistro, with a classic menu, beautifully executed. Service was prompt and attentive without being obtrusive. We will come back.
We requested a quieter table and were provided a table upstairs that overlooked to main seating area and found it quieter than downstairs. Great service, food and menu choices, and, overall, a delightful evening. Will definitely recommend La Mirabelle!!
