Lena's Italian Kitchen - New York

The Italian food at this restaurant is amazing! We especially enjoyed the pasta dishes, Calamari with marinara sauce, straciatella soup, and the fantastic Tiramisu.

It had been a while since I last ordered from Lena's, but I was quickly reminded of how delicious their food is. The quality of ingredients and preparation was top-notch. And their happy hour appetizers can't be beat.

The experience at this restaurant was amazing. I came across their pasta Fiorentina on Instagram and knew I had to try it. It was even better than I had hoped for. They even followed up with a text the next day to ensure I enjoyed my meal. I am looking forward to returning and expressing my gratitude in person.

Ah Lena 's, a reliable neighborhood staple to satisfy all my Italian cravings. Sure, prices are a tad high and might turn some away, but the portions are huge, and if evaluated based on price of bite ratio, it 's actually very well priced. Think of it as: you 'll def have leftovers, which you 'll definitely want, since some of the dishes shine even more after the sauces have marinated a bit more. Not sure why I never wrote a review despite getting takeout from them for years; might be guilty of gatekeeping. Shhh. For tonight 's Sunday night don 't feel like cooking let 's order delivery to nourish our souls for the upcoming workweek, I got the pasta fiorentina with rigatoni (ALWAYS rigatoni for this dish because it takes up the sauce better), and a tiramisu. I always ask for extra sauce w the fiorentina and always save the extra sauce to toss w my own rigatoni during the week (I know, it 's genius right? It 's tasty AND I solved one weekday meal); had a hankering for tiramisu because social media has been showing me a friend 's trip around Italy and I 'm drooling jealousy. Lena 's tiramisu isn 't life altering or mind blowing, but it does the job as a pick me up. Service is always quick. Food is always consistently good.
