Lupa - New York

My go-to Italian place for whenever I crave pasta! Service is good and they really do know how to make pasta. My favorite is Bavette Cacio e Pepe.

Lupa was everything I remembered from decades ago. It has a great formula and wisely doesn't change it. The antipasti were of the highest quality, and the main courses were a worthy follow-up. It's not a thrilling or surprising or even fashionable place, but it's a place where one eats good food and feels good. Nice value for the money as well.

Not a repeat experience small table for crowded party has us dropping utensils. 2 out of 4 guests got sick right after dinner.
