Taste is 80 percent Indian, vindalo, chettinad, daal, biryani, samosa chaat, breads are all great. The issue we had was with paneer tikka, taste was good but panner was rock hard, delhi butter chicken had fantastic tasting chicken,, but the gravy was just sweet tomato paste, the apetizer portions are really small.

Service, service, service. Not a large space but the staff knows how to cater to large parties and small. Akki had a friendly smile, great sense of humor and was knowledgeable. Appetizers and entrées are perfectly spaced. Try the non veg (or veg) platter. It's a great way to get a delicious meal started at Madamji.

The place is beautiful. Pictures online do not do this place justice. Food was amazing, ambiance was nice too, music was nice, not too loud. Service was good and food was tasty and full of flavor. For appetizers we had the cauliflower and chilli pepper fry. It was finger licking good. For Entree had the Lamb Korma, Goat Ghee Roast, and Chicken curry for entree, butter chicken. I reccomend this place. Note that gratuity is already included in the bill.

I usually don't give this low rating to restaurants however this one deserves it. We were 6 people. Probably ordered all the appetizers on the menu they were just missing something. The portions are VERY small so please keep that in mind before you place an order. The staff just made us feel rushed, they took my plate while I was placing another order. The drinks are nice an extra star for that. However the food is not what they charge for or give the hype about.
