Madre! It was amazing. I tried to walk in the night before and it was too busy, so I made a reservation for tonight and the hostess remembered me and gave me a nice table! She is very sweet and welcoming.The food is unique and the server helped me choose some of their house specialties. I'm a Chef in the Caribbean and was blown away by the flavors and presentations.What stole the show was the service though... The GM Giancarlo (sorry if I spelled wrong) went over and beyond to make me feel and home and all servers and busers seemed to work very well together as a team.Highly recommend Madre to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience in Greenpoint.

The food here was exceptional I had the fluke ceviche, truffle croquettes, pork, chicken, strawberry soufflé and crème brûlée). Each item keeps the taste buds yearning for more. Plating was beautiful, ambiance was simple and cute I made last minute reservation my table area was bit dark but In all honesty I didn’t mind it, nice little cozy corner), staff was very welcoming and and asking if we were ohk, each meal brought to u told by server what u having. I don’t know there clientele but my friend and I were the only two black people there except the 2 workers. All in all was wonderful.

We live nearby and came to check out the highly recommended MARDE. From start to finish this place is a true gem. I would not be surprised if they attained a Michelin star. The ambiance, drinks and food is exceptional. Will be coming back for sure!

The vibe and food were wonderful. We went for brunch so sadly they didn’t serve the soufflé…but I’m definitely planning to go back for dinner so I can order it! But other than that, all the food we ordered was yummy! Oh and the cornbread madeleines are a must order!

Loved our food, the only downside was the plates were not spaced properly bc they thought we were sharing everything, my wifes french toast took too long to come out bc of that but otherwise I highly recommend the tomato galette and the truffle croquetas… We would definitely come back and try again. I liked the green fairy cocktail it was refreshing and “grassy” flavored
