Mahmoud Corner (halal Food Truck)

This food truck is amazing! It's large and very modern, offering a great value for the amount of food you get. We ordered the lamb rice platter with yellow rice, omitting the lettuce and tomato. The lamb was delicious—flavorful and not gamey at all. The seasoning was just right, and the platter also came with fries and a bit of eggplant. The fries were the thick steak-cut type; while not anything extraordinary, they were quite satisfying. We were a bit tipsy when we ordered, and it really hit the spot for us, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. One platter is definitely enough to feed two people.

We were in the area and didn't want to drive up to Jackson heights. Found this food cart with great reviews/rating. Tried a few items including gyro and chicken on the stick, etc., wasn't impressed at all. Not planning to go back. The staff was veryfriendly though.

I've been dining there for many years and have developed a strong connection with Ibrahim and Mohamed, who work there. Every time I visit, it feels like coming home. The food is absolutely amazing. The owner, Mahmoud, is truly a legend.

The restaurant offers high-quality gourmet-style halal food. I really enjoy their eggplant mixed with their signature dishes, which adds a healthy twist to the meals. My only wish is that they could be a bit more generous with the portion sizes, especially since most platters are priced over $10. Nonetheless, the food is delicious and healthy!

Taste is good. Not too strong not too mild. But... the amount of food is ridiculously small. Compared to the size, price $10 is not cheap at all. As one of other reviews, I had only 4 beef slices. Don't go if you are very hungry, or get 2. I don'tunderstand how the rate can be this high.
