The ingredients are very fresh and flavorful. I had the pork banh-Mi. The bread has a crisp outside with a balanced texture on the inside. The pork is tender and juicy that goes perfect with the pickled vegetables. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.
This is a cute cafe! I've had the bahn mi sandwich, rice bowl, and kimchi fries so far, and they were all great. The prices are good for the entrees, but I felt the fries were kind of overpriced for what you get. The interior is clean and charmingly retro (I'm a fan of the vintage glassware on display), and they also sell specialty groceries. I will say the service could be improved—the reason I had the rice bowl is because the person who rang me up got my order wrong (and I was the only customer there but it's otherwise fine.
It took two hours to be seated and then another 45 minutes to eat my so called “5-star food” and it was less then mediocre, my eyes were watering the whole time I was seated because of the frying onions. There all also only a few tables inside and the bathrooms are in the basement, the only good thing was the customer service. You would be better off driving to Ann’s pancakes in elmira it would take the same amount of time and you would get better food.
What a cute little place underground! The food came out quick. The noodle bowl was delight and interior design was inviting.
