This restaurant is truly an extraordinary gem. I've visited multiple times, and it never disappoints. Everything from the staff to the ambiance and, of course, the food is outstanding. We always bring our out-of-town guests here. We feel so fortunate to have such a place in our neighborhood!

This place is a hidden treasure! Every dish is delectable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. You absolutely have to try the Max meat sauce—it's always a fantastic choice!

Hidden gem in Tribeca! The food is exceptional, and the staff treats you like friends, no matter your background. We especially enjoyed the Fettuccine with Max’s meat sauce, Spaghetti with clams, and the mushroom ravioli, topped off with the Tartufo for dessert. Even though we live in Williamsburg (Brooklyn), we can’t wait to return for dinner at Max’s!

Lasagna was dry. Caesar salad was expensive and not a true Caesar salad with sardines in dressing. Pasta was not Al dente and cooked way too long. It was mushy. Owner was there and didn’t even stop by table even though we told the server issues. there were only 4 tables occupied.

Fabulous no frills dishes. loved it, outdoor seating was 4 star. great service fresh ingredients
