When you?re vegetarian it?s difficult to find places to eat that prepares your food separate from the meat and fish stuff. I?ve had some places look at me like I?m crazy when I ask that it be cooked separate. When they don?t or won?t. I leave. This is not the case here at mighty bowl. They didn?t even think it strange and I like that type of customer service. I?m totally feeling the California. Tofu has to grow on you especially if it?s not prepared with other yummy stuff.
I got a bowl delivered to my work for lunch. They really should have secured the bowl because it arrived soaking through the bag, which was awful to deal with. The bowl itself was nothing special. The mango was good but the shrimp were terribly over cooked. I won?t be ordering from here again.
I stopped by last week for the first time in years and ordered my favorite item from them the Penang Bowl. Despite the pandemic causing quite a few establishments changing and not for the better, the food is exactly how I remember it. The peanut curry sauce is to die for and everything tasted fresh. The service was very friendly. Definitely give this place a shot the next time you're on MacDougal Street.
Small place on McDougle street. We came across it since we were already there, and decided to go for it. We had the make your own bowl with the gonjugang sauce, and we loved it. The serving size is huge, we still have the leftovers. Heads up, they charge more than 1$ for extra meat (we didn?t pay much attention to it hence we missed it). All in all, a really cute place with quick service and good food ????????
