Miyabi Sushi - New York

Sat down and while the server was getting me water, a cockroach walked across my table... I said I had to go and left immediately.

We were there 5yrs ago and liked it so much, we came back. The staffs are very attentive and courteous. The atmosphere is updated, nice, and clean.

Fast service, reasonable prices. We had the chicken udon, tuna roll, and vegetable tempura. Food was okay, tasted a little bland. Another review mentioned a mandatory gratuity, but our party of two did not see anything like that. Perhaps it is for larger parties.

For 15+ years, Miyabi has always had great sushi. The owner is very kind, food is fresh, and the restaurant is quiet and relaxed.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is quite good. One downside is the acoustics—it can get very loud—and it's also a bit dark. Nonetheless, I still highly recommend it!
