Nothing came remotely spicy despite being labeled on the menu as spicy.

This restaurant serves the freshest sushi in the city at the most affordable prices. My go-to dish is the salmon avocado roll, which always has perfectly ripe avocado and extremely fresh salmon. I highly recommend Miyako; it is a hidden gem in the Upper West Side!

The food at this restaurant is very good and the portions are large. The prices are also good. However, the service is unbearably slow. If they tell you your order will be ready in 20 minutes, expect to wait 40 minutes for entreés from the kitchen. The staff is very friendly and apologetic for the delay, without making excuses. The menu offers basic options for Japanese cuisine, but the dishes are tasty and well-prepared.

Such a cute and quiet little place. Food was excellent!! Absolutely loved this place.
