I have always wanted to go to Momosan! When we arrived, we were seated immediately, parties of two must either sit at the bar or at long group tables side by side. Our waiter was prompt in his service and provided us with everything we needed for apleasant experience. For our appetizer, we chose the firecracker shrimp in gochujang aioli. It was sweet, with a little kickthat was perfect for a cold night. Our mains were a tonkatsu ramen and tan tan ramen. The tonkatsu was flavorful with a strongumami taste that was delightful to the palate. The braised pork and egg in both dishes were expertly cooked and the noodles hada great bite to them. My tan tan ramen?s broth was delightfully thick with a delightfully nutty broth with the perfect kick ofspice. The broth coated every noodle evenly and was incredibly creamy.
The rams both my friend and I were delicious. I wasn't for the snake, but only because I'm not much when a drinker. the reason for my mediocre evaluation was my experience when I first arrived. I treated my friend for birthday. I planned a Japanese evening and after our dinner we were on the way to see madame butterfly in the lincoln center. So, we were dressed quite elegantly and came a few minutes before the restaurant opened at 17 o'clock to not rush our meal times and still make the 7:00 o'clock performance. we were only the third group of people who entered, and I asked for one. the host who met us at the door was not very nice when she said we had none because we just opened. she said you could sit on the bar. I said it's gonna be hard for me to sit in the bar in the dress and feed that I wore. then she said our other option was the community table, and to supplement injuries, we had to sit next to each other and not over what would have facilitated the conversation. if it weren't for the fact that it was too late to go another place, I would have. I was in other Rammen restaurants and sat at community tables and didn't say we had to sit next to each other. I didn't want to make a scene and give my friend a pallor to birthday. my friend also didn't understand why we couldn't stand on one, as there were so few people. a party of three must sit in one stand. Why didn't they say to sit on a community table? this hostess was white, with very long, dark hair and overweight. she just seemed to make one difference when she came to the restaurant. the waitress waiting for us was very pleasant.

We got tonkatsu and tantan ramen. It was so good. Pork belly bao, soft shell crab and sticky ribs are a must too. Definitely coming back!
