This restaurant is always reliable for good eating and service.

We were not impressed with this restaurant. The food and service were just mediocre. There are definitely better choices on the Upper East Side. We wouldn’t return.

I tried the asparagus special, and while the asparagus was indeed fresh, it felt somewhat lost in its preparation. It was served in a watery sauce that didn't quite do it justice. I also had the pasta cacio e pepe, which was a bit better, but still not quite right—it had way too much pecorino cheese. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

We always have a great experience at this place, but this past time we have the feeling that the service was not good at all. After our courses were served, there was never the offer of fresh pfeffer, grated cheese, etc. we stayed disappointed and the server tip has reflected this.

Great food and reasonably priced for the quality. Nice decor and good mix of patrons. Look forward to returning often. If you liked Centolire- you will be happy to find Morso.
