You'll find a decent assortment of seafood, including King Crab legs, salmon, teriyaki fish, and various shrimp and crab dishes. There's also a selection of meats that ranges from thinly sliced chicken to steak. The salad bar is standard, with a variety of greens, deviled eggs, cheeses, fruits, and a wide range of dressings. My favorite aspect is the Sushi Bar, which offers a nice variety of freshly prepared sushi. The flavor of the food is good, though not exceptional. **Service: 4/5** While the service isn't remarkable, it's notably better than many other Chinese buffets. The staff frequently checks in to refill water, and generally, they're quite attentive. Since it's a self-serve format, they don't have as much to handle, but the service they do provide is at an acceptable standard. They also have a special birthday celebration where they sing and provide a free cupcake if you show proof of a birthday. **Atmosphere: 4/5** The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. The lighting is somewhat dim, which contributes to an unexpectedly romantic ambiance for an all-you-can-eat buffet. The utensils are nicely arranged, the seating is comfortable, and there's ample room to move around. **Overall: 4/5** I would rate this place a 3.5/5, but I'm leaning towards a 4 because of the excellent pricing for the quantity of food offered. While it may not be mind-blowing, it's consistently a satisfying meal. I wouldn’t visit more than once every few months, but if I’m hungry and looking to stay under $20 for a meal out, this is a great option.
This restaurant offers an affordable buffet experience. While New Grand Buffet may not satisfy the cravings of a true food enthusiast, it does have some tasty options. However, they often overcook items like snow crab legs and shells. I’ve found the salt and pepper frog legs, spicy baby octopus (the whole miniature cephalopod), hot and sour soup, and most desserts to be consistently enjoyable. The Chinese dishes are generally decent, although they may not be the best you’ve encountered. Overall, the price is quite reasonable.
The buffet is noticeably fresher now! I visited recently, and the food looked different—it's clear they've made some new updates. Everything appeared more fresh and flavorful. I'm also happy to report that the prices remain unchanged.
It's been a while. I haven't gone to the new big buffet for a long time, I bring my best friend to go another day for her birthday, and of course I got her free birthday present as a good lunch! and she's happy! how can I say the best price for everything you can eat
I would say that the buffet is definitely worth the price . At around 14 for lunch and around 20 for dinner the prices are right. There is quite a few selection of foods , mostly seafood which I like but they also have 2 3 chicken and 2 3 other meats. They have a good salad section, fruit section and pastries including ice cream. Would recommend.
