I walked in to pick up my online MealPal order, only to be told that the manager decided not to participate in MealPal today. If that's the case, why not remove Tuesday MealPal from your website? There’s no way to cancel a MealPal reservation, so now I’m left without lunch after spending time arguing with the staff, who insisted they had no food available even though I could see the meals ready and a pick-up order right in front of me. Why would I ever return and spend my money here? Oh right, I won’t.

I ordered the barbacoa tacos along with a side of crema and guacamole. Unfortunately, I wanted to enjoy the food more, but it was quite mediocre. The guacamole was disappointing; it tasted artificial and not fresh at all. The crema lacked flavor and was more like regular sour cream. The beans and rice didn't stand out either. For $20 tacos, I expected more and was left feeling disappointed. On a positive note, the staff was friendly.

I was late for a meeting as a result. It’s hard to understand why I would ever return to spend my money there again. In fact, I definitely won’t.

Apparently my experience at the West 38th outpost (where another customer literally called the police on the place) was not a one off. These people are just unpleasant to deal with.
