Feel like everyone is sweating about wanting them to be a good laugh, so my friends and I decided to do exactly that! On Thursday was the waiting period only 15 minutes, so that was good. However, the quality of the waiting period and the unlimited suppe, salat, brotsticks. the broth sticks were so good (as expected in this sodium/salt, yum.) the chicken and gnocchi soup was also unexpectedly quite good! the service and the pasta...POOR first, we ordered a bottle of wine from which they were out. we asked if we could get another white, but price match, the waiters answer them that white and pay full price. not very customer-friendly. the five Cheseziti was just burned. we ate the upper pieces / cheese and left the pasta. super cheap meal in comparison to the rest of manhattan, but obviously no delish meal.
The garnelen scampi and garnelen fritto misto court are delicious. Don't forget to try her wein. my man and I had a great evening here, the times of the square lights and views are a mood.
As a kanadier I only heard from olive garden in memes, so I came with very low expectations. I have to say that times was pleasantly surprised when considering that we have come here from convenientity, but it turned out that it is a pleasant experience! Waiting time: very little wait to get space and many sitting places available (love the stands for the beautiful back rest)Food: not the best I have ever eaten, but I love my little supper and the other staff were very helpful
The platonic ideal of mediocrity. Everything was FINE. Nothing more, nothing less. The dining room is more spacious than I had anticipated, and everyone's seated on the second floor. There are both stairs and an elevator you can take for accessibility. There was, astonishingly, a 15 minute wait. The food is exactly what I wanted and needed: a step up from something I could make at home, but not much more. Soup, breadsticks and shrimp scampi all perfectly serviceable. The shrimp scampi, salmon and spaghetti squash are the menu items least likely to kill you via sodium content, so keep that in mind. If you haven't dined at the Times Square Olive Garden, can you honestly claim to be a citizen of the world? From this vantage point, you can watch tourists be actively scammed and observe some of the city's most unwell denizens. What I'm saying is, it's the perfect location for a chain as thoroughly American and unapologetically middling as OG. *chef's kiss*
